Regional website Poland

On June 11, over a thousand fans of running gathered in the ninth edition of the Nysa Run. Five Umicore employees from the Nysa plant put on their running shoes and participated in the main run of the event.

Congratulations!

The Nysa Run, as in previous years, attracted amateurs of running from the municipality and the entire Nysa district. This year there were even many participants from other regions and abroad. More than 570 contestants took part in the 10 km run. The winner was a Ukrainian citizen. Before the main run, a family run with a distance of 1.6 km took place and gathered about 400 participants. The start and finish line of the competition were located near the Nysa Hall.

Umicore would like to congratulate all participants of the 9th Nysa Run for their big and small achievements, from the professionals to those who run to live healthy. The company is confident to see more great sports emotions in the jubilee edition of the run next year.

“I love the energy of every race start, but running in my hometown is always the best. This is my fifth  start in the Nysa Run. Great atmosphere, perfect organization and the ideal running track.”
