Get to know Umicore in Nysa

Umicore has been making cathode materials in its Asian production plants since 1999. Based on this expertise we are now building an ultra-modern cathode materials production plant in Nysa.
The new Polish Umicore team in Nysa is working relentlessly with contractors to build Umicore’s first cathode materials plant in Europe.
All guests agreed on the key role that the production facility will play in the development of the local labor market in the entire voivodship. The plant is expected to start production by the end of 2020 and will employ 400 people.
