Can you describe your role at Umicore?

Together with my colleagues, my role is to make sure production runs smoothly. Umicore in Nysa is the first plant in Europe to produce cathode materials.  

What do you enjoy about your job?

I enjoy working in an international team. I get to meet new people and I can develop myself by doing so. 

What do you enjoy about working for Umicore?

I like working for Umicore because they give me the opportunity to grow. I also appreciate the trust and respect my supervisors have for me. 

Why did you want to join Umicore?

Umicore is a modern company with great professional opportunities, close to my hometown Nysa. But, above all, I wanted to join Umicore because the plant in Radzikowice is a greenfield project.

What are you looking forward to when you leave for work in the morning?

I look forward to working in a safe and pleasant atmosphere, together with my team.

What has been your highlight so far in your role at Umicore?

The opportunity to participate in a greenfield project and to be able to demonstrate my skills in the production area. 

Advice for new employees?

Whether you have a lot or no experience at all, do not be afraid to apply for a job at Umicore. Umicore gives every person a chance to grow. Also, the help from colleagues and other staff members is outstanding. Don’t wait to try!
