What you will be doing 

• Drive change management initiatives for BIT-related projects
• Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders, ensuring understanding and buy-in
• Coordinate the implementation of changes to minimize disruption to factory operations
• Communicate system downtimes to local stakeholders
• Provide feedback to global IT teams on local challenges and successes
• Facilitate the rollout of global IT projects and standards within the factory
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones
• Contribute in developing and managing project documentation, timelines, and budgets
• Follow up on progress and communicate updates to the stakeholders
• Support the development and maintenance of business continuity plans
• Conduct regular business continuity drills and update plans
• Educate factory personnel on business continuity procedures
• Assist in implementing IT-related requirements for certifications
• Provide technical support for IT-related issues affecting factory operations
• Initiate and follow up on change requests — ensuring clear communication between IT and business stakeholders and providing feedback on change approvals or rejections
• Ensure prompt resolution of IT problems to minimize downtime
• Facilitate communication between factory staff and global teams for efficient problem-solving 

Who we are looking for 

• Master’s degree in information technology, applied computer sciences, business administration, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a function bridging Business and IT
• Comprehensive understanding of business processes and operational workflows and their system applications with a focus on operations (production, maintenance, Analytical Lab, Process Technology, and Engineering)
• Proficient project management skills
• Strong analytical skills, with an emphasis on prioritization, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Prior work experience in industrial activities, processes, and technology
• Knowledge of Umicore and its businesses is a plus
• Fluent English and Polish
