What you will be doing 

The SAP Analyst will be an integral part of the Global BIT SAP Support organization, responsible for

managing one or multiple SAP modules. This role involves providing second-line support to key users

within the UBM organization, creating documentation, and participating as a business analyst in various

SAP projects.

 

The SAP  Analyst is responsible for

Second line support :

  • Specialist-Level Assistance: Provide expert-level support to key users, addressing and resolving complex issues related to SAP modules, including Material MD and Authorization issues.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • User Training: Offer guidance and training to key users to enhance their understanding and effective use of SAP modules.
  •  Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring issues and work on long-term solutions  to improve system reliability and user satisfaction

Business Analyst :

  • Project Collaboration: Act as a business analyst in SAP projects, collaborating closely with IT counterparts during all project phases, including blueprinting, testing, training, and support.
  • Requirement Analysis: Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement, ensuring that SAP solutions align with business needs.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear communication between business stakeholders and the IT team to ensure requirements are understood and met.

Implementation Support: Provide support during the implementation phase, ensuring that any issues are promptly addressed and resolved

Requirements gathering:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Capture and analyze business requirements related to change requests from relevant stakeholders, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs.
  • Functional Requirements: Translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements for the SAP Support team to implement.

Validation: Ensure that the implemented solutions meet the specified requirements and address the stakeholders’ needs effectively.

Documentation :

  • Comprehensive Records: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP processes and solutions, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately captured.
  • User Manuals: Create user manuals and training materials to assist key users in understanding and utilizing SAP modules effectively.
  • Process Mapping: Document business processes and workflows to provide a clear reference for current and future system enhancements.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Maintain a knowledge base of common issues and solutions to facilitate quicker resolution of future problems.

 

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor Degree in computer science or related fields
  • Minimum 2 years working in IT projects
  • Experience working with one or multiple SAP modules
  • Having worked in IT projects for manufacturing companies is a plus
  • Good knowledge of self-service BI tools
  • Good technical knowledge about DB connectivity to access different data sources
  • Fluent Polish and English
