What you will be doing:

  • MRP execution in SAP (MM/PP)
  • Convert planned requisitions into POs, manage call‑offs, and balance expedite/de‑expedite actions to protect production
  • Set and maintain planning parameters (lead times, MOQ, safety stocks) and align inventory with target
  • Confirm schedules, communicate changes, mitigate risks (capacity, transport, quality), and support problem‑solving when disruptions occur
  • Maintain daily operational communication with suppliers regarding schedules, confirmations, delivery performance, shortages, delays, and risk mitigation
  • Align on capacity constraints, escalate issues when needed, and coordinate recovery plans to ensure uninterrupted production
  • Maintain material master and source lists in line with engineering changes and phase‑in/phase‑out plans; ensure data integrity for reliable MRP outputs
  • Work daily with Customer Service, Production Planning, Warehouse, Quality, and other teams to synchronize inbound flow, receiving, and line‑feed readiness
  • Excel reports and dashboards to visualize supply risk, coverage, and supplier performance; drive fact‑based decisions
  • Support Lean/Kaizen and 5S; contribute to continuous‑improvement and inventory‑reduction initiatives while meeting safety, quality, delivery, cost and housekeeping objectives
  • Lead shortage escalations when needed; prepare recovery plans and proactively communicate impact/timelines to stakeholders

 

 

Who we are looking for:

  • University degree, preferably in logistics, production management, economics, or engineering
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in material planning, logistics, or purchasing within a manufacturing environment (automotive experience will be an asset)
  • Very good knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, reporting)
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher, enabling effective communication with suppliers and clear reporting
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, manage priorities, and make quick, fact‑based decisions
  • Strong understanding of MRP processes and inventory management principles
  • Effective communication skills and work organization
  • Proactive approach, resilience under pressure, strong analytical thinking
  • Solid problem‑solving and negotiation abilities
  • Familiarity with automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949, ISO, PPAP will be an asset
  • Knowledge of chemical‑products purchasing requirements (REACH, SENT, SDS) will be an asset
  • Understanding of Lean principles (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S)
  • Experience with data analysis in Power BI or similar reporting tools will be an asset
  • Participation in Supply Chain optimization or continuous‑improvement projects will be an asset
