About Automotive Catalysts
We all have the right to breathe clean air, and at Umicore, we are a world leader in the production of automotive emission control catalysts. Our technologies enable on-road and non-road applications to meet environmental standards around the world. Our products have prevented billions of tons of harmful gases and particles being released into the atmosphere. To enable our customers to produce even cleaner engines we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new ideas. Which is where you come in.

- Execute end‑to‑end system setups for new materials, coordinating with other teams where needed: track and report setup status
- Update procedures and work instructions: compile required supply‑chain inputs for PPAP packages and ensure version control and completeness
- Build and validate raw data sets (volumes, lead times, MOQ, parameters) for Material Planning and Production Planning: run reports and correct inconsistencies
- Maintain parameters and master data that drive transport planning: align with Transport/Warehouse on changes and exceptions
- Perform pre‑go‑live checks on master data and system settings
- Liaise with Planning, Warehouse, Quality, Customer Service, SAP Support, and suppliers to close gaps quickly (missing data, incorrect setups, labels)
- Record defects (data, setup, documentation), propose fixes, and escalate risks that may impact PPAP timing, customer deliveries, or compliance
- Act as hands‑on support for Supply Chain Specialists (Planning, Customer Service, Quality, Warehouse), helping to close data gaps, resolve setup issues, and manage exceptions
- Take ownership of waste tracking and reporting in Logistics; support continuous improvement by identifying root causes and creating standard routines for reduction
