What you will be doing
Coordinate inbound shipments from international suppliers, including follow-up on arrivals and organization of transport to plants.
Communicate with carriers and forwarders; intervene when needed to ensure smooth and compliant logistics operations.
Inform Business Units about incoming deliveries to support planning.
Handle incidents, complaints, and extra transport-related charges.
Collaborate with the Accounts Department to support timely invoice approvals.
Support internal logistics for outbound road shipments when needed.
Oversee import and export clearance processes in cooperation with customs brokers.
Identify and address missing documentation and continuously improve import procedures.
Maintain records and reports related to import/export clearances.
Perform internal controls on customs documentation, HS codes, origin certificates, and customs valuation.
Provide support with SENT notifications and extrastat reporting.
Act as the point of contact for customs inquiries and liaise with the Trade Compliance team.
Report and follow up on customs incidents and audits.
Monitor Polish customs and trade regulations and report upcoming changes.
Prepare reports related to customs duty optimization schemes (e.g., outward processing).
Prepare and submit CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) reports.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor’s in Logistic or similar
- Knowledge on transport regulations such as dangerous goods, load securing, aviation security is a plus.
- Good speaking and writing English and Polish
- Good knowledge of MS and other software.
